STAR Healing Academy is built on the foundation of Support, Trust, Acceptance, and Respect. These are the values that are incorporated into each interaction, service provided and work completed with the organization.

STAR Healing Academy was started by Nicole Looney as she identified a need to support counselors in all stages of the profession. She recognized that her diverse professional experiences places her in a unique position to help individuals and groups in various areas of clinical practice and business management. She knows from personal experience how prevalent burnout is in individuals and organizations in the mental health profession. As a result, this company was started to help healing professionals feel that their goals approachable and attainable without having to sacrifice their life balance and wellbeing.

To support healing professionals, in particular mental health professionals through a variety of services that make working in the field more approachable, comfortable and manageable while reducing stress, overwhelm and burnout.
