Throughout my career spanning over a decade, I have operated within the full spectrum of behavioral health. I have worked in high-acuity primary addiction and mental health care settings (including Residential, PHP, and IOP programs), held vital agency leadership positions, and successfully built both a thriving private group therapy practice (STAR Counseling Services) and a dedicated training and consultation business (STAR Healing Academy). My journey through non-profit, for-profit, and private practice models has given me a 360-degree view of this industry. It has also uniquely qualified me to help you navigate the delicate intersection of clinical excellence, compliance, and business growth.

Clinically, I am licensed in Florida, Texas, and New Hampshire, and I specialize in high-acuity, complex trauma cases. As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and EMDR Certified therapist, I understand the profound impact of trauma-informed care and what it takes to master complex modalities. Additionally, as a certified instructor for both Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid and a QPRT Role Play Facilitator, I am deeply committed to community outreach and crisis-intervention education. • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Successfully managing rigorous audits from major regulatory bodies including The Joint Commission, CARF, the Council on Accreditation, and the Department of Children and Families (DCF).

• Funding & Development: Practical success in grant writing, grant management, fundraising, and strategic marketing.
